Sober October has just a few days left and one member of the Rosebirch team is committed to it, to raise funds for Macmillan.
It is the second time that machinist Benn Reed has done the challenge, but this time he is doing it on his own as his wife Laura bailed on him this year! 41 from High Spen, Benn has been with Rosebirch for two and a half years and is father to three children, which means giving up the booze is a big thing! He said:
“After a great summer and a good family holiday, I decided it was time to get back to the gym. This includes cutting back on treats so the timing for Sober October was perfect and I can raise money for a great charity!”
